11E ÉDITION DES PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS À COTONOU
L’essentiel de la cérémonie d’ouverture et de la coupure du ruban
Le 14 septembre 2023, les hostilités de la 11e édition des PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS ont été officiellement lancées à Cotonou en présence du promoteur de l’événement Bidossessi David FALADE, Directeur Général de PANAFRICAN CORPORATES MAGAZINE .
Étaient également présents, des personnalités et institutions du monde des affaires de la sous-région notamment la commission de l’UEMOA,
de la BIDC,
le Représentant du Ministre du Numérique et de la Digitalisation du Bénin
,
la CCIB, le représentant du Ministre de la Justice du Bénin et celui de l’ambassade d’Hollande au Bénin.
«Paysage des affaires en Afrique: opportunités et défis», c’est le thème retenu pour cette 11e édition des PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS. Cet événement vise à célébrer l’excellence et l’innovation dans le domaine de l’économie.
Dans son discours d’ouverture, le promoteur de l’événement, Bidossessi David FALADE a tout d’abord exprimé sa gratitude à l’endroit des institutions, sponsors, partenaires et personnalités qui ont apporté leur touche particulière dans l’organisation de l’événement. Selon lui, «Au-delà de la reconnaissance des réalisations individuelles, les PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS ont une plateforme pour le réseautage, le partage de connaissances, la création de partenariat stratégique. C’est ici que des idées innovantes sont échangées, que des opportunités de croissance sont identifiées et que des alliances fructueuses se forment. Ensemble, nous continuerons à bâtir un avenir meilleur pour notre continent grâce à l’innovation, à l’entrepreneuriat et à l’excellence», a-t-il fait savoir.
Pour la Directrice des opérations de la Chambre du Commerce et d’Industrie du Bénin (CCIB) Joëlle VIDEHOUENOU,
c’est un évènement par excellence qui permet aux opérateurs économiques de vendre leurs produits, de se faire connaître, d’échanger entre eux et de saisir des opportunités d’affaires.
De son côté, la Directrice du secteur privé de la Commission de l’’UEMOA Khady Evelyne NDIAYE, a rappelé que département s’intéresse à toutes les initiatives du secteur privé dans l’espace UEMOA.
«Nous avions apprécié le faite qu’on soit associée à cet événement important pour pouvoir exposer toutes les activités que nous menons dans le cadre du programme de développement l’industrie et de l’artisanat de la commission de l’UEMOA», s’est-elle exprimé.
La coupure du ruban a mis un terme à la cérémonie d’ouverture.
Quid de la conférence inaugurale ?
La conférence inaugurale a porté sur le thème, «Paysage des affaires en Afrique : opportunités et défis dans la zone ouest-africaine». Et c’est Ozias Sounouvou, Journaliste à la Télévision Nationale du Bénin qui a conduit les débats. En ce concerne les panélistes on note la présence de Khady Evelyne NDIAYE,
Directrice du secteur privé de la Commission de l’’UEMOA,
Nathalie BITHO, Présidente de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Togo,
Joëlle Videhouenou, Directrice des Opérations de la CCIB
et Laurent GLIN PDG GREEN AFRICA CORPORATION.
Grâce au management du modérateur Ozias Sounouvou, plusieurs axes ont été abordés.
Il s’agit entre autres, des opportunités tangibles et potentielles génèrent ces environnements économiques, les marchés de la sous-traitance, des chaînes de valeurs et donc des PME locales réellement, les freins à la capture par les entreprises locales des opportunités d’affaires générées par les transformations des secteurs productifs et infrastructurels nationaux,
l
e rôle de l’environnement social dans cette attractivité du paysage d’affaires et les obstacles au développement des affaires en Afrique francophone au regard des réglementations d’embauche et licenciement, des charges sociales et salaires.

The essentials of the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting
On September 14, 2023, hostilities for the 11th edition of the PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS were officially launched in Cotonou in the presence of event promoter Bidossessi David FALADE, Director General of PANAFRICAN CORPORATES MAGAZINE.
Also present were personalities and institutions from the business world of the sub-region including the UEMOA commission,
the EBID,
the representative of the Minister of Digital and Digitalisation of Benin,
the CCIB,
the representative of the Minister of the Justice of Benin and that of the Holland embassy in Benin.
“Business landscape in Africa: opportunities and challenges” is the theme chosen for this 11th edition of the PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS. This event aims to celebrate excellence and innovation in the field of economics.
In his opening speech, the promoter of the event, Bidossessi David FALADE first expressed his gratitude to the institutions, sponsors, partners and personalities who brought their special touch to the organization of the event. According to him, “Beyond the recognition of individual achievements, the PANAFRICAN CORPORATES AWARDS have a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, creation of strategic partnership.
It is here where innovative ideas are exchanged, growth opportunities are identified and successful alliances are formed. Together, we will continue to build a better future for our continent through innovation, entrepreneurship and excellence,” he said.
For the Director of Operations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin (CCIB) Joelle VIDEHOUENOU, it is an event par excellence which allows economic operators to sell their products, to make themselves known, to exchange with each other and to seize business opportunities.
For her part, the Director of the Private Sector of the WAEMU Commission Khady Evelyne NDIAYE,
recalled that the department is interested in all private sector initiatives in the UEMOA space. “We appreciated the fact that we were associated with this important event to be able to expose all the activities that we carry out within the framework of the industry and craft development program of the WAEMU commission,” said is expressed.
The ribbon cutting brought the opening ceremony to an end.
What about the inaugural conference?
The inaugural conference focused on the theme, “Business landscape in Africa: opportunities and challenges in the West African region”.
And it was Ozias Sounouvou, Journalist at the National Television of Benin who lead the debates. Regarding the panelists, we note the presence of Khady Evelyne NDIAYE,
Director of the private sector of the WAEMU Commission,
Nathalie BITHO, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo, Joëlle Videhouenou,

and Laurent GLIN CEO GREEN AFRICA CORPORATION.
Thanks to the management of moderator Ozias Sounouvou, several areas were addressed.
These include, among other things, tangible and potential opportunities generating these economic environments, subcontracting markets, value chains and therefore local SMEs really, the obstacles to the capture of business opportunities by local companies generated by the transformations of the national productive and infrastructural sectors,
the role of the social environment in this attractiveness of the business landscape and the obstacles to business development in French-speaking Africa with regard to hiring and dismissal regulations, social charges and wages.
